La Pila is a modern farm on 44 hectares of land where fruit trees and seed crops are grown using natural agricultural methods. We meet EEC requirements for integrated pest management for gradual transition to organic farming methods.
But above all, we have been concentrating our efforts on preserving the farm buildings and opening a new farm holiday establishment which has allowed us to restore the courtyard and the entire estate to the lifestyle that characterised it for almost three centuries.
We have renovated the tobacco drying rooms to create five large rooms, for 2/3 people each, of which two for disabled people, all with two beds (plus sofa bed) with private bathroom, and two small apartments, for 4/6 people each, with two rooms each (one with a king size bed and one with two beds), two bathrooms, a living room with a sofa bed, corner kitchen and TV.
The old granaries have become living areas and storage rooms have been transformed into a spacious kitchen (at our guests' disposal) and a mini-gym with keep-fit equipment. The shed has been converted into a lovely veranda.
Even the farmyard has had a facelift: in the old walled-in garden known as the "brolo", between rows of kiwis, we have constructed a 7.5 x 15 metre swimming pool (warmed and equipped with whirlpool corner), we have planted a little herb garden and a thriving vegetable plot, and we are now busy growing a rose garden and, perhaps, building a barbecue corner.
There is the possibility of using the kitchen of the farm. Large living room with satellite-TV, covered arcade, pergola, fitness gym, ping-pong, bowls ground, bike rides.

You can find in a ray of 50 Km., less than one hour's drive from the Farm, the principals cities of arts of northern Italy (Verona, Vicenza, Padova, Rovigo, Ferrara, Mantova) and many other centres of interest as Este, Montagnana, Monselice.
